Payroll Advisor - Up to £30k basic – Remote – North-West Based

We are currently working with a successful Payroll and HR advisory and due to growth; they are looking for a payroll advisor to join their North West team on a remote basis.

Candidates with a CIPP qualification would have a great advantage

Typical day to day:

Manage payroll clients portfolio, ensuring timely pay runs and accurate records in the in-house system.
Calculate all Statutory Payments (SMP, SSP, SPP etc)
Understand and advise clients on auto enrolment pensions
Provide client support via phone and email, staying updated on HMRC guidelines.
Handle payroll admin tasks like post, documentation, and pension contributions.
Attend client meetings to meet new business targets.
Support team members and maintain required skills.
Perform other duties as needed
Who/what are we looking for?

Similar experience in a payroll bureau or on internal payroll
CIPP qualification desirable but not essential
Must know payroll off screen and know the calculations behind payroll
Strong Excel and Microsoft skills
Thorough understanding of UK Payroll and accurate numeracy is essential
Demonstrated self-motivation and ambition are highly valued.
Strong attention to detail.
