Mechanical Technician
County Durham – Seaham
Monday – Friday 4 day working week
Jackson Hogg is delighted to be once again supporting a well-known Manufacturer in the region as they look to expand their team with a further Maintenance Engineer. As an Maintenance Engineer, you will be working in a busy, fast moving environment among a well-supported and skilled team.
This company boasts very low turnover and significant recent investment and pride themselves on growing, training and developing their staff. A well-known brand both regionally and globally, they need a strong electrical technician to strengthen the existing team within the electrical maintenance department.
You will be responsible for:
* Site maintenance activities – Planned, Preventative and Reactive Maintenance
* Project support and input across the site
* Mechanical Maintenance – Cookers, Pumps, Heaters, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Gears, Wiring, Conveyors, Food equipment’s.
* Supporting junior members of staff and apprentices
* Define and plan safe maintenance.
The ideal candidate will:
* Be fully time served, ideally with a mechanical or multi skilled/mechatronic apprenticeship
* Have experience within fast-moving manufacturing.
* Worked within the food sector is desired but not essential.
* Experience with mechanical systems or electrical.
* IT literate
