Laboratory Technician

We are currently working with a prestigious, government-backed defence organisation in the Presteigne area to recruit a Laboratory Technician
This is a great opportunity for a motivated and inquisitive person who wants to work within the defence industry.
This role will expose you to a wide range of technical challenges across multiple skill sets. A degree is desirable, but relevant work experience and motivation are more than acceptable as full training for the role will be provided.
The Role:
Manufacture and formulation using lab-scale R&D equipment, including one-off prototypes and small-scale production runs.
Design of bespoke prototype manufacturing equipment from the ground up
The Person:
Degree or HNC/Diploma in Science or Engineering, or a substantial amount of practical experience gained within current or previous employment.
