Salary: £35,000 to £37,000 per annum + overtime (£40,000+ per annum)

We are a leading provider of repair and maintenance services for systems, plant and equipment on various educational sites. We are looking for a Building Services Engineer to join our team on a full time, permanent basis.

What will you do as a Building Services Engineer:

As a Building Services Engineer, you will work Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm, with the opportunity to earn extra income through overtime. You will also join the on-call rota, which is approximately every 6th week (paid extra).

You will be responsible for:

Carrying out routine PPM and reactive tasks throughout the building, and suggesting areas for improvement
Swiftly resolving plant faults and defects, and ensuring suitable spares are available
Providing parts lists and estimated timescales for remedial works
Completing and submitting all relevant paperwork regarding PPM, reactive and breakdown works to the contract administrator
Preparing and using Method Statements and Risk Assessments for all tasks to ensure safe working practices
Providing a safe and healthy working environment for yourself and othersTo be a successful Building Services Engineer, you need to have:

At least 5 years of experience in building services
City & Guilds Electrical or Mechanical qualifications
Experience working with / on PPM's, FCU's, BMS, 3 Phase power supply, AHU's, Chillers, Water treatments
Experience working within an educational / healthcare or another client facing environment (preferred)
