Demi Chef de Partie for a 3 Silver Star Hotel. The property offers 31 bedrooms, the 2 Rosette Restaurant and a Brasserie.
Salary : £ £23,712.00 to £29,495.86 per Annum
This is an opportunity for Chefs who want to oversee a section of the kitchen, be it larder, fish, sauces, garnish, or hot starter.
About :
* 48 hours/week
* Shifts : A mixture of straight and split shifts
* Weekends included
Duties :
* Assist senior chefs where required in recipe and dish development.
* Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes within your speciality
* Ensuring you and your team have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety
* Monitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit margins
Skills :
* Great cooking skills
* A cool head
* An ability to delegate appropriately
* Organisational flair
* A good financial acumen and basic understanding of GP
Qualification:
* Any health and safety and Food Safety qualification
* A City and Guilds/NVQ Level 2 qualification would be beneficial.
