Trainee Electrical Design Engineer / Estimator role available with a well-established solar company that can offer training and development.
The role will suit candidates with a Degree / HNC / HND / Equivalent electrical qualification and / or Electrical Design / Estimating experience. You must be able to read electrical schematics.
The varied role will involve both technical and commercial aspects. As well as the technical design and estimating of solar and battery storage systems there will be lots of communication with colleagues, clients and suppliers.
The company can offer a collaborative working environment with training, development and progression opportunities.
The Trainee Electrical Design Engineer Estimator Role:
* 3D Design / Estimation of Solar PV & battery storage systems.
* Working with / from existing electrical schematics.
* Collaborating with colleagues, clients and suppliers to ensure designs are to specification and provided at the best price for the customer.
The Trainee Electrical Design Engineer Estimator Candidate:
* Able to read electrical schematics.
* Working knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets or equivalent.
* Will hold a Degree / HNC / HND / Equivalent electrical qualification.
* Any 3D design / estimating or equivalent experience is beneficial
