Resident Engagement Officer

Based in Woodford Green
To provide a resident engagement service that is high quality, responsive, inclusive, customer orientated and ensures residents are effectively involved in the decision making process.
To support and develop residents to be fully involved within the Housing Service and its decision making processes.
To organise and manage resident engagement projects, activities and events to ensure that they achieve their objective, are delivered on time to a high standard and to budget.
To provide advice and support to residents associations wishing to explore management arrangements the Right to Manage or TMO.
To work with external agencies and other landlords to deliver a high quality resident engagement service
Respond and resolve enquiries and problems, judging when to pass complex queries on to or involve others, in order to provide an effective service and clear advice to colleagues and customers.
Lead on preparation, hosting and follow up of external resident activities/events seeking resident insight on key issues, collating and recording defined information documentation as requested and establishing deadlines for actions.
Communicate and liaise with service users and/or external contacts, representing the work unit within the department/directorate as required
