Our prestigious Manufacturing client based in Fareham are looking to recruit a new member of staff to join their ever-developing company in the role of a Junior Mechanical Engineer.
Job Description
The purpose of the job role will be to assist the engineers with new programmes ensuring all quality cost and timings are to standard along with involvement in procuring new components whilst working within set budgets.
Responsibilities:
* Working with Tooling and Design Engineers to ensure designs comply to tooling standards.
* Supplier liaison via Teams calls.
* Involvement in supplier nominating and vetting.
Skills and Experience Required:
* Engineering and CAD knowledge
* Engineering qualification or Apprenticeship
Salary/Hours/Benefits
* £29,500 - £33,500.
* Monday – Thursday 08:00-17:00 and Friday 08:00-13:00
