Senior Design Coordinator

A fantastic opportunity to join an innovative and award-winning Civil Engineering company, delivering planned and reactive services on behalf of major utility provider. Due to continued framework status ensuing continuity of work, our client is recruiting for a Senior Design Coordinator to be the interface between designers, contractors/site operations, and consultants, ensuring designs are delivered in accordance with specified requirements. Hybrid working offered.

As Senior Design Coordinator you will:

* Ensure all designs are approved before the construction programme.

* Ensure that recommended design solutions are feasible and sustainable and provide most value across whole life costs.

* Work to resolve design issue which arise, recognise and identify any out-of-scope works.

* Perform formal design reviews across the project lifecycle ensuring buildability and recognising change.

* Work with the project Planner and commercial team ensuring the design team delivers in accordance with the agreed programme and budgets.

Our client requires a Project Engineer with:

* Degree or equivalent in Engineering.

* Understanding of Civil and M&E design interface involved in delivering projects.

* Experience of working within the water or Civil Engineering industries.

Salary/Benefits:

* £55,000 – £60,000 per annum

* Company car / £5,300 car allowance

* Hybrid working

* 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays)
