Salary: £45,000 - £53,000

Full Time: Monday to Thursday 07:30-16:00 with an early finish on Friday

About You

I am currently looking for a Quality Manager to join one of Dorset's leading Aerospace Engineers, with over 40 years of Industry leadership and experience in machining, building, and testing diverse assemblies. We would also consider an experience Quality engineers and Senior Quality Inspectors who are looking for progression & development.

Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, across all levels
Professionalism in customer interactions
Analytical mindset for effective decision-making and problem-solving
Highly Skilled in mechanical inspection processes
Ability to mentor and train team members on process improvements
Background knowledge in a CNC machining department.
Experience using MRP systems
Good Knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies

About the role:

Ensure compliance with all Company Procedures.
Serve as the primary contact for all stakeholders on Quality matters.
Lead the Inspection Team, offering detailed support as necessary.
Collect and Report Quality KPIs to the Senior Management Team.
Identify trends to support continuous improvement activities aimed at reducing the cost of poor quality and enhancing delivered quality to customers.
Investigate Non-Conformances promptly and implement strong preventative actions.
Collaborate with other group company quality functions to share best practices.
Develop and sustain an effective annual internal audit programme.
Oversee and maintain company AS9100 Certification, Customer Approvals, and Company QMS.𝗕𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗳𝗶𝘁𝘀
