Supplier Quality Engineer overview -

Liaise with various key suppliers and internal operations teams, to successfully resolve issues, and encourage quality, productivity improvements, and drive cost reductions.

Supplier Quality Engineer responsibilities include -

Review suppliers, ensuring capabilities are aligned with quality, cost, and delivery targets,
Analyse performance data and document information.
Use performance data to perform current and new supplier audits.
Create reports on findings and implement the required action plans to improve processes.
Implement quality tools and techniques, ensuring the business reaches its annual objectives.Supplier Quality Engineer desirable skills and experience -

knowledge of modern manufacturing methods and techniques.
Knowledge of QMS such as ISO 9001, AS 9100, or IATF 16949.
Mechanical engineering education (HNC/HNC), or relevant training.Supplier Quality Engineer benefits include -
