We wish to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced person to manage and support a large team within Amelia House which is our transitions

The manager will work with the Children and Young Peoples Placement Teams, Transitions, Complex Care and wider Local Authority teams to ensure admissions and referrals are supported to access the service.

Amelia House has a strong experienced Registered Manager in place who is now stepping away to take on our first Ofsted Childrens Home and therefore we are looking for a suitable replacement for this position, the candidate will be supported with a strong handover and transition period until Summer 2024.

The manager will ensure that the service is delivered in compliance with relevant legislation including CQC standards and regulations and have strong experience running a complex and challenging residential enviroment.

The Manager is expected to take responsibility for the legal registered manager registration for Amelia House, Newbrook, Brookfield and our Community Services which sits within our learning disability registration.

Requirements for our Deputy Manager:

* Relevant experience in a managerial or supervisory role within a similar setting.

* Experience working with younger adults with mental health and LD.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with residents and stakeholders.

* Ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment.
