Our client, a globally recognized engine MRO specialist is seeking a Technical Services Lead Engineer with a focus on aircraft engines. Our client is renowned for its comprehensive overhaul, testing, and component repair services for the GE90 series engine. The Technical Services Lead Engineer plays a pivotal role in the development and management of the Technical Services Department. This position involves leading the department in its day-to-day operations, ensuring the effective management of staff, and driving continuous improvement. The Lead Engineer will be instrumental in shaping the department's growth and success, working closely with the team to maintain the high standards our client is known for in the MRO industry.
In summary:
The provision of technical advice and technical support related to engines, components and processes, engaging with the OEMs and customer technical teams and the further capability development of the business.
Verification and upkeep of all the engineering master data within the ERP system.
Provide leadership and guidance to the existing team of technical services engineers.
Ensuring that all processes existing and newly introduced follow the approved technical data.
Experience Required to be successful in this opportunity:
At least 8 years' experience within a powerplant engineering/technical department, ideally MRO based or airline.
Experience in successfully leading a technical team is preferable.
In-depth knowledge of engine structure and performance, ideally GE90 -115 or other similar wide body engines.
In depth understanding and application of authority required standards and practices such as EASA Part 145, CAAC AR145.
Prior experience with on wing trend analysis and condition monitoring an advantage.
Experience dealing with OEM and customer technical teams.
Ability to review and support the technical audit of USM and rotable material
Excellent command of written and spoken English is essential, Bulats Grade B2, preferable Grade C1.
