Job Title: Senior Highway Engineer

Salary: £45,000-£48,000 per annum plus benefits
 
I am working on behalf of my client based in London for an opportunity for a Senior Highway Engineer to join the team. The right person for the role will work within the highways maintenance team to undertake both planned and responsive maintenance on the highways, delivering them in an efficient manner.
 
Key Responsibilities of the Senior Highway Engineer:
·Develop planned maintenance works for highways schemes
·Supervise site, including measuring works and attending meetings
·Liaise with clients and key stakeholders
·Plan and deliver work programmes within time and budget constraints
·Contribute to procurement dealings
·Assist in training the team
 
Key Requirements of the Senior Highway Engineer:
·Relevant qualification in Civil Engineering/Highways Maintenance
·Sound knowledge of highway maintenance and public sector works
·Demonstrable experience working within a similar role
·Strong abilities to people manage and communicate with internal teams
·Abilities to utilise IT packages and engineering design softwares
