Job Description
We are looking for a highly motivated, collaborative, and engaged Senior Analyst to join our Finance team. As a key member of the Finance team, this role will build and establish processes and financial analysis to help drive the strategic direction of the business.  The Financial Analyst works closely with the Finance team and key business partners to develop budgets, forecasts, and management reporting and produce variance analyses on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
This role incorporates a combination of financial and data analysis, strategic analysis, business modeling, and creative thinking through supporting internal stakeholders and the Finance team to ensure that corporate overall objectives and financial results are met.  This role requires the ability to lead/assist with cross-functional projects, communicate effectively and efficiently, and be excited to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist with monthly and quarterly reporting related to Company profitability, which measure progress against strategic plan, budget, prior year results and the latest financial forecast
Develop and generate the monthly Board and Corporate reporting packages
Conducts financial data mining and value-based business analysis to positively influence business decisions
Actively review financial results to identify trends, risks, and opportunities to help formulate timely and impactful responses with senior leaders
Translate complex analysis into simple visualizations that can communicate key takeaways to leaders and stakeholders
Acts as a point of contact to assist departments with their annual plan and mid-year reforecast reviews
Acts as business partner to the Supply Chain/Operations leadership teams to provide performance and cost analyses, insights, and inputs to the forecasting process
Assist with maintaining accurate bill of material cost structures for manufactured and purchased finished goods.
Assist management with building business cases to support strategic investments in new products, locations etc.
Support the functional leadership team by maintaining and building models to track performance, evaluate business cases, and improve forecast accuracy
Maintain key performance indicators to measure critical financial and operational drivers
Leverage business intelligence tools to create dashboards to readily display snapshot and trends in KPI’s
Perform ad-hoc financial analysis including scenario planning and investment analysis that aid in decision-making across the enterprise
