Company Overview: We are a leading residential contractor based in Bournemouth, specialising in high-end residential developments and apartment blocks. Our projects are known for their quality, innovation, and attention to detail. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee and manage our construction projects across four sites in Dorset.
Job Description: As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the construction of residential developments from conception to completion. You will oversee a variety of projects, including luxury homes and apartment complexes, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects across four sites in Dorset.
* Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
* Supervise construction teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure high-quality workmanship.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, building codes, and industry standards.
* Liaise with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
* Identify and mitigate project risks, addressing any issues that arise promptly.
* Provide regular project status reports to senior management and clients.
* Maintain excellent communication with all stakeholders, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Project Manager in residential construction, with a focus on high-end developments and apartment blocks.
* Strong understanding of construction processes, building codes, and health and safety regulations.
* Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.
* Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide construction teams.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment.
* Familiarity with project management software and tools.
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites in Dorset.
