The Client
Our client are a new stunning farm shop and restaurant located on the outskirts of Woking.

The Role
We are looking for a Chef with proven and extensive experience in a sous chef role in a restaurant environment serving contempory fine dining dishes along with classical training.
Preferable at least 2 years at a junior or sous chef level with in this environment.
Knowledge and enthusiasm for the hospitality industry, local produce, sustainability and great food & first class service essential

Responsibilities
As Sous Chef You will be supporting the head chef to manage a small team including kitchen porters. You will work closely alongside the directors to create and maintain exciting seasonal, British style contempory small and sharing plate menus for both brunch & lunch.
The restaurant will serve breakfast, lunch, and snacks. Small and sharing plates served in their finest form within a casual environment.

Responsibilities:
As sous chef
You will be prepping for the regularly changing seasonal menus, cooking and running the pass during busy services.
Have an understanding in current market trends to include suppliers and products
You are keen to use your great cooking, organisational and time management skills, energy, confidence, and passion for food to ensure the highest standards are consistently achieved
Maintain a clean and hygienic working environment and work to the highest level of food hygiene standards to comply with regulations.
Strong understanding of menu and receipe development
Ensuring that the company brand standards are maintained HOURS AND BENEFITS
As Sous Chef you will benefit from a competitive Salary
48hr contract
Working hours will be between 7am – 6:30pm and will include shift patterns
