Financial Accountant

Here at Manpower, we have an excellent opportunity for an experienced financial accountant to join the team of one of our clients who are at the forefront of pharmaceuticals and healthcare product supply.

The successful candidate for this role will be able maintain financial records, preparing financial statements, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making. Personality wise the candidate will need to be exact, logical, and analytical within their work.

Main Responsibilities:

· Financial Reporting
· Budgeting and Forecasting
· Financial Analysis
· General Ledger Management
· HMRC Processes and requirements, including VAT Fillings, Tax audits and correspondence.
· Ensuring EU VAT regulations, import/ export and customer procedures are always adhered to.
· Supporting with internal controls assessment, compliance audits and risk management.
· Liaise with internal stakeholders, external partners, and regulatory authorities.

Desired experience / skills required:

· Part / Fully qualified ACCA, CIMA, or CPA
· Minimum 5 years industry experience in financial accounting, reporting, analysis, and budgeting, preferably in a large corporate environment.
· Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems; advanced Excel skills are highly desirable. Experience using Microsoft Business Central (Desirable)
· Ability to develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and risk management frameworks.
· Knowledge of banking operations, treasury management, and cash flow forecasting.

Working hours are 08:00AM - 17:00PM, Monday - Friday based fully on-site. Successful candidate will need to have their own transport due to location.

Salary is negotiable based on experience and for the right candidate.
