Graduate Teaching Assistant

We are working with a mainstream outstanding primary school that are looking for passionate and bubbly graduates to work as teaching assistants for September 2024. Your role will vary from working as a general teaching assistant, to working 1:1 when needed with children from Y3-Y6. This 3-form entry school is an Ofsted rated "Outstanding" school, that consistently maintains good quality of education for its pupils. The school is a popular school where children love learning and achieve highly. We require dedicated graduates who have a passion to work with children to work alongside teachers helping to support teaching and learning. Training will be provided throughout the year, and the school will help guide you. Previous experience is not necessary, you just need to have the right attitude!

Hours: Monday to Friday - 8:30am-4:00pm

Your responsibilities may include:

Offer one-to-one and group support to students across various subjects.

Collaborate in the planning and delivery of educational activities and lessons.

Assist teachers in preparing materials and resources throughout the day.

Prioritise the safety and well-being of students.

Collaborate with colleagues to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Promote active student engagement and participation during activities.
