Head of Service (Public Health, Smoking Cessation)

Head of Service - Operations Manager - Public Health - Smoking Cessation - Health & Wellbeing Services.

This is a newly created opportunity to join a dynamic healthcare business to join as Head of Service for their smoking cessation team.

You will be a passionate, driven and knowledgeable public health professional with solid management experience and the ability to think strategically, and commercially.

This is a new service, so you will be leading the development of the service itself, building and shaping the team, and establishing relationships and partnerships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

As well as managing the service operations, you will manage quality & compliance, monitor and manage performance against KPIs and contractual arrangements, act as a key representative and spokesperson outside of the organisation, and develop a strategic plan for the ongoing development and expansion of the services.

This is an entrepreneurial environment, and the organisation is enjoying a sustained period of rapid growth. There is further expansion (services and geographical) planned, so this is an ideal time for an ambitious, career-minded individual to join them.

Whilst this will be challenging, demanding and fast-paced, there is also a company-wide ethos based on support and collaboration.
