Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Logistics Manager with expertise in deliveries management and waste management, along with a background as a traffic marshal. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of logistics operations, including planning, coordinating, and optimizing the movement of goods and materials. They will also be tasked with implementing efficient waste management practices and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collection of delivery schedules for all gates and issuing to the TM Team
* All relevant personnel have radios, checks carried out first thing and signed for
* Attend (chair) all weekly Digital Life Logistics Meetings
* To make sure that all deliveries to site are co-ordinated, unloaded in a safe manner ensuring all Wates Visual Standards are adhered to and do not cause any congestion to other works, deliveries, and storage etc
* Provide all necessary cover for all meal breaks and sickness for site access gates, TM positions and hoist operations
* All keys are handed back into Security from all gates / doors etc
Qualifications:
SSSTS or SMSTS
Traffic Marshal
