Job title: HR Manager - 12 month FTC
Location: Manchester City Centre
Salary: up to £55k

I am working with a reputable and vibrant organisation who are looking for a HR Manager on a 12 month FTC for a maternity cover. This role is a mixture of operational and strategic HR, involves line managing a small team including a HR Advisor and HR Coordinator & is a key role within the company.

- New Starter Onboarding: Collaborate closely with various departments to ensure seamless onboarding experiences for new employees.
- HR Processes and Policies: Review and update HR policies in accordance with current employment legislation. Provide accurate advice to managers on policy changes and career development plans.
- Employee Correspondence: Manage all employee-related documentation, including contracts, wage reviews, and performance development reviews.
- Right to Work Compliance: Oversee the full right to work process for new hires, staying abreast of government regulations and implementing suitable IDSPs.
- Employment Relations: Guide managers on performance improvement plans, settlement agreements, disciplinary matters, and grievances. Manage absences and support managers on probations and secondments.
- Reporting: Analyse data, update organizational charts, and provide monthly KPI reports to the Managing Director.
- Diversity and Inclusion: Lead D&I initiatives, set up working groups, and collaborate with Finance on Gender Pay Gap reporting and strategies for improvement.
- Health and Wellbeing: Develop an annual health and wellbeing strategy.
- Benefits Management: Review benefit offerings, conduct benefits surveys, and support the launch of new benefits.
*CIPD Level 5 or equivalent experience is desirable for this role*
