QA Test Engineer

We are looking for a QA Test Engineer to join our OnePlus team. The ideal candidate will have experience coordinating and arranging device function test resources and tasks, and following up on task progress, results validation and generating reports. You will be familiar with North America carrier product requirements, test cases, carrier specific functions and features, and network configuration. You will also assist and troubleshoot issues during testing to avoid scheduling delays.
What you'll do
Onsite support for joint test with carrier lab, 3rd party lab, and field test;
Technical support for different function teams, 3rd party test lab on testing setup or product quality related matters;
Support after sales issue feedback debugging and solution verification;
Develop, create and execute internal test plan, and run automation test;
File bugs and track status on Jira system until issue fixed and closed;
Plan and build for NA quality test lab environment;
NA market feedback analysis and research for improving test coverage.
The Position will have 2 locations: Seattle, and Dallas. Please be specify your preferred location when you apply.
Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or relevant field. Master's degree preferred;
2 - 4 years of work experience in telecommunication field;
Familiar with product developing, testing, debugging environment;
Strong sense of responsibility and enterprising spirit, strong logical analysis skills, strong problem solving and communication ability;
Familiar with Android operating system, Linux system, and ADB commands;
Familiar with North America carrier product requirement, test cases, network specific function and features; carrier certification experience is preferred;
Good understanding of using testing tools and equipment, QXDM, QCAT, QPST;
Ability to develop test cases, design test plans, and use automated testing tools;
Strong sense of responsibility and enterprising spirit, strong logical analysis and problem-solving ability, excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
Available for travel in short notice and have valid driver’s license;
Native English speaker. Fluency in Mandarin Chinese is preferred;
