Ofsted Registered Manager- Up to £55,000 with a £2,000 signing bonus– Oldbury
The Role
Are you an Ofsted registered manager with a proven track record of managing a children's home and a vision for creating a nurturing environment? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you.
Right Steps is excited to announce the opening of a new home in Oldbury and we need an Ofsted Registered Manager! This purpose-built, therapeutic children's home will provide the best environment possible for the three young people who will call it their home.
This is a unique opportunity for a Registered Manager to lead the home through its Ofsted registration and then manage it from day one. You will have the freedom to shape the service around your personality and practice methods, creating a thriving atmosphere for both staff and young people.

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the home through its Ofsted registration process.
* Build and manage the home from its opening day.
* Develop and implement practice methods to create a thriving environment for staff and young people.
* Ensure the home complies with all relevant legislation and standards.
* Provide leadership, guidance, and support to your team.

The Person
* Within the last 5 years, worked for at least 2 years in a position relevant to the residential care of children.
* Worked for at least one year in a role requiring the supervision and management of staff working in a care role.
* A proven track record of success within an Ofsted registered children’s home.
* Achieved or be working towards the Level 5 diploma in Leadership and management of children and young people’s residential services.
* Full UK Driving Licence
