Join our team as a Field Service Engineer:

Are you ready for a role that takes you across the UK & Ireland, providing hands-on technical support to customers in various industries? As a Field Service Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of our operations, ensuring our machinery performs at its best in diverse environments.

Your responsibilities will span a broad range of mechanical and electrical tasks. From breaking down and rebuilding various assemblies to conducting installations and commissioning visits, no two days will be the same. You'll thrive in fast-paced, demanding environments, using your expertise in basic wiring, PLC programming, and fault-finding to minimize downtime and keep operations running smoothly.

This role isn't just about fixing machines—it's about being a trusted partner to our customers, delivering exceptional service that sets us apart from the competition.

Experience Required:
At least 2-3 years’ experience as a Field Service Engineer or Technical Service Engineer, with a good knowledge of labelling systems or alternative types of packaging machinery.

* Solid electrical background with basic PLC programming skills, wiring experience, and fault-finding abilities.

* Solid mechanical background, with a good working knowledge of mechanical processes, including cutting and grinding. Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.

* Ability to technically assess situations and issues, and proactively advise on solutions.

* Ability to follow procedures and plan time effectively.

* Ability to manage multiple tasks while under strict time constraints.

* Excellent people skills with a good attitude to teamwork and the ability to work alone in the field.

* Valid driver's license.

* Engineering-based qualification such as HNC/HND, etc. would be preferable but not essential

* Welding experience (again, not essential but useful)
