FULL TIME SUPPORT WORKER REQUIRED TO JOIN AN EXISTING TEAM

Driving license required (to take client to appointments etc..)

Shifts are 3 days/nights long - so a total of 72 hours - so similar to a live in care position.

You would do 3 days/nights ON followed by 6 days/nights OFF (working in a team of 3 carers)

ROTA: Carer A does a shift of 3 days / 3 nights consecutive. Carer B does a shift of 3 days / 3 nights consecutive. Then Carer C does a shift of 3 days / 3 nights consecutive. Then back to carer A etc. . .

Permanent Role based at one location
Employed by a Respected and Specialist Care Provider
£9.50 per hour + company benefits
Working 3 days/nights consecutively (followed by 6 days off)
£200 per 24 hour shift (£600 per 3 day block)
Shifts on a ROTA basis including some weekends
Rota given 1 month in advance approx.
DRIVING LICENSE REQUIRED TO APPLY FOR THIS ROLE Rate of Pay: £9.50 per hour days - £50.00 per sleepover (equivalent to £200 per 24 hours)

We have an exciting opportunity for a further Support Worker to join an existing team working with a gentleman who has a spinal cord injury, and is living in his own home in the Colchester area.

About the role:

All aspects of personal care and spinal injury care will be required
Support and assistance in social activities, therapies, and holidays in the UK and abroad.
Assist with domestic tasks and food preparation.Shift Pattern:

There will be a minimum of eight 24 shifts per month, which are completed in blocks of three shifts each time.
You will be joining a small team so flexibility will be required to cover in times of sickness and annual leave.
08:00-24:00 plus sleepover 24.00-08.00 (working 3 shifts together)
You will be working within a small team providing care and support all year round, including weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis. Flexibility is essential.About You:

You must hold a full driving licence and be a confident driver.
You will ideally be relaxed, friendly and approachable, with a good sense of humour.
Experience is not necessary as full training will be provided.
You must be tolerant of smoking and be comfortable around dogs. There are two dogs in the home of which there will be interaction with.The Employer:
