Senior Quality Engineer Opportunity

Are you an experienced Quality Engineer ready to take on a new challenge? Our client has an exciting opportunity where you'll plan and coordinate quality activities to ensure all components, processes, and products meet specified requirements. You'll work closely with various departments to resolve processing issues and promote continuous improvement, providing quality planning and training to support the successful launch of new parts, processes, and products.

Salary up to £50,000 per annum, depending upon experience plus exceptional benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement methods and procedures for inspecting and evaluating product reliability and accuracy.
Analyse defects in materials and products, recommending corrective measures to maintain and improve quality standards.
Drive corrective and preventative actions, including process and product design improvements through data analysis.
Play an active role in quality improvement programs, using lean thinking to continuously enhance products and processes.
Investigate customer complaints or warranty issues and implement corrective actions.
Ensure adherence to quality assurance measures throughout the manufacturing process.
Inspect products to meet company and customer specifications.
Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance and resolve non-conformances.
Attend daily meetings to investigate, resolve, and report shop floor quality issues.Qualifications:

Proven track record in a similar role within an engineering environment.
HND or HNC qualification (Or equivalent).
Proven experience with ISO management systems and SAP Quality Management.
Strong skills in process mapping and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Proficient in problem-solving using 8D or other tools.
Experience with Computer Measuring Machines (PC-DMIS) and a solid understanding of engineering drawings.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.
Experience in auditing (system, product, process) would be advantageous.This position is based in Redditch and is easily commutable from Bromsgrove, Studley, Alcester, Droitwich, Alvechurch, Evesham, Birmingham, Solihull, Worcester, Kidderminster, Stourbridge and Warwick.
