As a Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution of implementation, development, and consulting projects for valued clientele.
About the role:
The primary aim of the Project Manager position is to assist customer-facing Professional Service teams in efficiently and effectively executing implementation, development, and consulting projects. Key objectives of this role include ensuring client success, fostering clear communication, and achieving mutual understanding and alignment on business requirements, project plans, deliverables, timelines, and budget.
Responsibilities:
* Spearhead project initiation, fostering collaboration between clients and internal teams through effective communication channels.
* Serve as the primary liaison throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring clarity and alignment on business requirements, project plans, deliverables, timelines, and budget.
* Present standardized project plans and processes adeptly to clients and internal stakeholders.
* Facilitate meetings and streamline collaboration between technical teams and clients.
* Maintain, monitor, and update project plans, identifying issues and managing changes in project scope.
* Develop customized project plans in collaboration with technical team members, ensuring meticulous documentation of project requirements.
* Conduct rigorous risk and issue management, devising mitigation strategies in tandem with the project team.
* Monitor and report project Earned Value, tracking progress against original estimates.
* Assist the Sales team in estimating project efforts and contribute to proposals and Statements of Work.
* Provide mentorship to junior project managers, imparting insights on project methodologies and best practices.
What we need from you:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
* Completion of a Project Management fundamentals course (eLearning or instructor-led).
* Certification in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2, CAPM, etc.).
* Demonstrated experience in Project Management, particularly in software implementation or development (e.g., PLM, PDM, ERP, CRM, CPQ).
* Familiarity with both on-premises and cloud-based software deployments is advantageous.
* Exposure to design engineering and/or manufacturing operations and processes.
* Background in Sales or Customer Service is preferred.
