WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR

We are recruiting an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join a medical packaging manufacturer based in Hull. This is a Permanent Vacancy, offering a salary of £25-£28k (dependant on experience).

Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5pm

The Warehouse Supervisor role is a Permanent position that will commence with immediate effect however, should you have a notice period with your current employer, we will work around this.

Job description

As a Warehouse Supervisor you will be responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness throughout along with maintaining high standards of quality and service for customer satisfaction. Your duties will include;

· Receiving incoming goods, inspecting quality and quantities, ensuring accuracy at all times

· Inputting delivery information into SAGE MRP system using the Goods Received Note (GRN) procedure

· Assemble and pack goods for dispatch, ensuring goods meet the high standards expected

· Maintain clear and accurate labelling of dispatched goods

· Manage stock levels for raw materials and finished goods, optimise warehouse space, and maintain cleanliness.

· Conduct regular stock checks and month-end stock-takes, updating SAGE MRP system for accuracy.

· Manage customers and freight forwarders whilst complying with domestic and international regulations

The successful candidate:

To be considered for the position of Warehouse Supervisor you must;

· Possess a Counterbalance Forklift license

· Ideally have 5+ years experience working in warehousing and dispatch

· Be proficient in Microsoft Office products, specifically Microsoft Excel

· Be familiar with SAGE MRP System or a similar warehouse IT system along with a good understanding of export documentation and international freight legislation

· Possess a full UK Driving license

· Have a great attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently

· Be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, remaining calm under pressure
