We are working with a marketing leading manufacturer of premium quality glazing solutions who are based in Sheffield. They are looking to recruit a Sales and Estimating Manager who will play a pivotal role in shaping commercial success and contributing directly to ongoing growth and market leadership.

Key Responsibilities include:

* Leading and managing an existing estimating team, fostering a culture of high performance and collaboration

* Providing guidance, coaching and training to the Estimating team and drive results.

* Prospecting using tools such as Barbours/Glengians, historical database, cold calling, marketing.

* Building a relationship with the clients.

* Tracking and keeping in contact with clients throughout projects from initial design, to planning, to be at the stage they are ready for our product.

* Estimating project costs

* Building product / application knowledge to use to give consulting advice to the clients. (in house training will be provided).

You will be supported by

* Product technical experts, surveyors

* Design, manufacturing, project managers and installation teams and QS function.

* Geographically based field sales team.

* A strong marketing team.

Required Experience:

The successful candidate must be commercially savvy, able to negotiate the best margin and best contract conditions. You must have experience in the window, door and glazing industry and proven experience in People Management, Sales Experience, Team leadership position.

You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster relationships and negotiate effectively.
