Qualifications 
Working knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, and approval processes as well as site-specific research with respect to these issues. 
Proficient in Revit/BIM/VDC and current Autodesk programs. 
Experience in electrical design of convenience stores and the electrical components of associated retail fueling systems preferred. 
Able to review, analyze and resolve Construction/Field issues. 
Familiar with LEED and energy efficient design. 
 
The estimated starting base salary for this role is $95,000-$115,000.

Your Day to Day 
Perform work in electrical engineering for the assigned functional area such as HVAC systems, electrical service, service equipment and low voltage. 
Assist in the electrical design calculations (low/high power distribution systems, lighting, security/fire systems, data/telecommunication systems, etc.). 
Independent evaluation, selection, and substantial adaptation and modification of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria. 
Conceptualize the initial electrical design approach for major phases of large facility-type projects, or take responsibility for the electrical engineering work on a project. 
Plan, schedule, conduct, or coordinate electrical engineering work. 
Oversee the design and ongoing progress of a project, including project coordination with city, state, and county officials and other outside agencies. 
Resolve a variety of complex problems, e.g., conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of conventional materials, and difficult coordination requirements. 
Serves as a liaison between clients and agencies, subcontractors, and design teams. 
Participate in the coordination of BIM/VDC. 
Supervise the work of less experienced engineers and/or technical support personnel assigned to the project.

Requirements
Education 
Bachelors in Electrical or Architectural Engineering 
 
Experience 
PE required  
Typically, 6 to 10 years of progressive work experience in the electrical engineering fields.
