The Role
Sway (fka Returnmates) is seeking an Operations Associate to assist in our operations in Miami. You’ll work closely with our Head of Operations and our East Coast Regional Operations Manager as we continue to grow the business in our Miami market. We are looking for a reliable and organized Operations Associate to assist with the management of daily logistics and activities. In this position, you will contribute in a hands-on administrative capacity by being the point of contact for our drivers, warehouse workers, and customer service teams, assisting our teams on projects, recruiting, and arranging training sessions. An Operations Associate’s responsibilities include helping the organization run smoothly and ensuring that deliveries/pick-ups are completed, routes are optimized, shifts are covered, customers concerns are addressed, and anything related gets accomplished on time with no issues. Ultimately, you will work in a support role and oversee many administrative tasks as needed.

Responsibilities
Working with team leaders, managers, and department heads to learn departmental needs and goals
Improving driver and customer experience
Observing, reviewing and analyzing processes to identify inefficiencies and areas where improvements could be made
Identifying and resolving any problems in the production process
Work closely on-site with the OM on a daily basis to relay feedback and identify opportunities for process improvements.
Requirements
Proven work experience as an Operations Associate or similar role
Good time management, prioritization, and multitasking abilities
Excellent interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with colleagues and independent contractors
Effective communication, including speaking, writing and active listening
Able to give and receive feedback and constructive criticism from a variety of channels
Excellent strategic planning and problem-solving skills
