Mechanic - Heavy Vehicle

We are currently seeking an experienced heavy vehicle mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of heavy vehicles, including trucks, buses, and construction equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, steering systems, and other components.
• Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify any potential problems and recommend appropriate repairs.
• Use diagnostic equipment and tools to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues.
• Maintain accurate records of all repairs and maintenance work performed.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs.
• Keep abreast of industry developments and advancements in heavy vehicle technology.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification or diploma in automotive technology or a related field preferred.
• Proven experience as a heavy vehicle mechanic.
• Strong knowledge of heavy vehicle systems and components.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
