We seek a talented and strategic Copywriter with experience in direct-to-patient (DTP) communications to join our dynamic team.
Job Description:
Role Overview:As a Strategic Copywriter, you will be responsible for creating persuasive and impactful content that resonates with patients and drives their engagement with healthcare products and services. You will collaborate closely with our creative, marketing, and medical teams to develop and execute strategic content that meets the needs of our clients and their patients. Your role will involve crafting a variety of content types, including patient education materials, digital and print advertisements, email campaigns, social media posts, and website copy.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation: Develop clear, compelling, and persuasive copy tailored for a patient audience across multiple channels, including digital, print, social media, and email.
Strategic Planning: Work with the marketing and creative teams to develop and execute content strategies that align with client goals and drive patient engagement and action.
Research & Insights: Conduct thorough research on target audiences, therapeutic areas, and competitive landscapes to inform content development and ensure accuracy.
Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams, including creative, marketing, medical, and client services, to ensure content aligns with overall strategy and meets regulatory and compliance standards.
Editing & Proofreading: Review and refine content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and alignment with brand voice and messaging guidelines.
Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze content performance metrics to refine and optimize future content strategies.
Patient Focus: Develop empathetic and patient-centric messaging that educates, empowers, and engages patients throughout their healthcare journey.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of copywriting experience, with at least three years focused on direct-to-patient communications in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry.
Education: Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
Skills:Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to convey complex medical information in a clear and accessible manner.
Proficiency in digital marketing and social media platforms.
Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance (e.g., FDA, HIPAA) is a plus.
