Rullion have a great opportunity for a qualified electrical fitter to work with an established rolling stock company on their Tram Fleet, based out of their depot in Nottingham.

Qualification Requirements:
NVQ level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or Maintenance. (Electrical Installation Qualifications do not qualify)

Experience Requirements:
Maintenance background in either Rolling Stock, Light Rail, Aerospace, Heavy Transport or His Majesties Forces.

Rates:
This role falls inside of IR35 and therefore payment options are PAYE or Umbrella:
- PAYE: £26.13 per hour + accrued holidays
- Umbrella: £32.86 per hour (first 12 weeks) / £34.48 per hour (after 12 weeks)

Shift and Hours:
4 days on / 4 Days off / 4 Nights on / 4 Nights off.
- Typical Day Shift: 07:00 hours to 19:00 hours
- Typical Night Shift: 19:00 hours to 07:00 hours

Purpose of the Role:
Being part of the depot autonomous team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support in delivery of our client's contractual obligations for maintenance and service of all Regional & Intercity customer fleets.

Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to the depot autonomous teams for fault finding and train repair activities.
- Collate and analyse data from system downloads and depot reports for all service failures.
- Analyse data to determine failure modes and compile test/rectification procedures.
- Identify and address minor failures requiring corrective maintenance.
- Identify failure trends/anomalies and inform Engineering/Reliability Teams for possible improvements.
- Collate fault data and position into appropriate shared drive facility.
- Identify Infrastructure-based failure modes and inform NR/Fleet Control for repair progress review.
- Liaise with Safety Team and provide detailed reports of system performance upon request.
- Liaise with Fleet Engineers, monitor Fleet Console, and provide technical assistance as needed.
- Assist in pre-work planning by providing detailed information for accurate planning.
- Accompany test runs when required.
- Assist with skill development within autonomous teams.
- Ensure all duties are performed in accordance with safety procedures and regulations.
- Carry out overhead isolation's as required.

Additional Details:
- This role is subject to Drugs & Alcohol Testing.
- Tooling provied by the client and PPE will be provided by Rullion.
