Key Responsibilities:

Leadership Management: Oversee the entire administrative function of the school office, premises, and resources. Lead and manage administrative staff, ensuring efficient delegation and coordination of activities.
Financial Oversight: Take accountability for the Centre’s finances, ensuring compliance with school and local authority procedures. Prepare financial reports and updates for the Finance Committee and Governors.
Process Improvement: Develop and implement improvements to administrative systems and processes to enhance efficiency across the Centre.
Customer Service: Serve as the first point of contact for visitors and parents, providing a friendly and welcoming environment. Address queries, resolve issues, and make decisions as appropriate.
Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with a team and participate in relevant training courses to ensure ongoing personal and professional development.
Role Model: Present yourself as a role model to pupils and team members, adhering to the Centre’s principles and values in speech, dress, behaviour, and attitude.
Operational Flexibility: Adapt to a busy school office environment, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach.Principal Responsibilities:

Administration:

Plan, develop, and monitor support systems, procedures, and policies, ensuring timely communication and adherence to internal processes.
Manage administrative staff, conduct annual performance reviews, and arrange regular training, including for apprentices.
Handle correspondence efficiently and manage service contracts, school licenses, and insurance.
Prepare and manage documents related to admissions, induction, registration, and transfers, ensuring pupil information systems are up-to-date.
Maintain and secure all ICT systems and ensure compliance with data protection and GDPR regulations.
Organize hospitality for visitors and meetings, and provide support during drop-off and pick-up times.
Liaise with staff, pupils, parents/carers, and external agencies, ensuring smooth communication and operations.Finance:

Plan, monitor, and manage the Centre’s budgets in collaboration with the Headteacher. Provide comprehensive financial reports and updates.
Handle financial processing, including accounting for all income and expenditure. Ensure records are regularly updated and compliant with LA finance regulations.
Manage financial resources, including cash, cheques, and online payments. Ensure secure and accurate handling of all funds.
Oversee ordering, delivery, and payment procedures, ensuring compliance with finance regulations.
Source quotes and determine best value SLAs, working with the SLT and LA. Submit SLA agreements and ensure best value for money.Qualifications:

Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within an educational setting.
Strong leadership and management skills.
Excellent financial acumen and attention to detail.
Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
