We also have two other businesses within our group, Alexander Jackson Executive Search and also Allen, Champion and Shaw. We have long term relationships with a wonderful client base and have to date successfully placed candidates and won projects in 21 countries and counting, all from our head office in Sunderland.

We are looking for someone to help facilitate our growth and win new long term high value clients.

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Recruitment Business Development and Client Solutions Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development, it would be a nice-to-have if you have a proven track record in the recruitment industry but this is not essential.

This role involves identifying new business opportunities, following leads, developing and maintaining relationships with strangers to convert them to clients and ultimately long term partners, and driving revenue growth through innovative sales strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development

Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the recruitment sector.

Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand the client base.

Conduct market research to identify potential clients and understand their recruitment needs.

Client Relationship Management

Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients.

Conduct regular meetings and presentations to promote recruitment services and solutions.

Provide exceptional customer service and ensure client satisfaction

Sales and Marketing

Develop and execute effective sales strategies to drive business growth.

Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns.

Manage unique events such as HR Huddles where we put on events with HR Professionals to discuss various topics – you would be responsible for approaching speakers and content leaders

Identifying candidates for our Podcast channel who are within senior leadership roles whom you would be involved in interviewing

Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns.

Attend industry events, networking opportunities, and trade shows to promote the company and generate leads.

Reporting and Analysis

Track and report on business development activities, sales performance, and market trends.

Analyse data to identify areas for improvement and make informed business decisions.

Prepare and present regular reports to senior management.

Team Collaboration

Work closely with the recruitment team to ensure alignment of business development efforts with recruitment activities.

Qualifications and Skills

* Minimum of 2 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.

* Advantageous to have an understanding of recruitment processes and industry trends however not essential

* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

* Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.

* Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.

* Ability to professionally communicate with stakeholders at all levels.

* Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

* Confident in being able to deliver external presentations.

* Driving licence and own car as travel to clients is critical (mileage and expenses all covered).
