Assistant Cost Accountant

Role - ASSISTANT COST ACCOUNTANT c£25k - £42k (DOE)+ Bonus + Benefits

Our client is a leader in their field and due to continued growth are now looking for a Cost Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity for somebody looking to work in a friendly work environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Ensure allocation of all supplier invoices against consumables, bought in products, against client orders.
* Ensure supplier price conformity Vs agreed pricing on our current Management Information Service.
* Working with Directors Identify trends and areas for margin improvement.
* Develop sales margin calculation reporting.
* Develop margin control procedures, policies via our MIS system.
* Reclaim costs from supplier underperformance.
* Manage sales personnel expenses and commissions.
* Develop purchase order policies and supplier compliance procedures.
* ID improved stock control and month end stock take procedures to reduce time.
