IT Support Technician | Crawley | Part Time | 25-30 hours per week, 5 days per week | Remote working and occasional office visits for hardware issues, along with on-call availability for emergencies | £35,000-£38,000 per annum pro rata (dependent on experience and part time hours)

Are you the right person for the job?

Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, engineering, or another relevant field
Certifications i.e., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional
5yrs+ experience as an IT Technician
Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
In-depth understanding of diverse computer systems and networks
Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles
Strong understanding of computer network infrastructure
Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices
Knowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocols

What will your role look like?

Serve as the first point of contact for IT support company-wide
Install, configure, and maintain software and hardware components of computer and network systems
Diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware issues
Repair and replace damaged computer and network components
Ensure the security of client and server computers by installing and upgrading antivirus and firewall software
Support employees and customers with IT-related problems
Maintain and update technical documentation regularly
Test new hardware and software before full-scale installation
Assist with the prompt resolution of support service tickets
Create and maintain user accounts in Microsoft 365/Active Directory
Review and manage email security systems
What can you expect in return?

23 days per annum pro rata plus bank holidays (The Company closes between Christmas and New Year, and you will be required to take holiday from your annual allowance during this period. You will be notified each year of the dates of annual closure)
