Working Hours:
* Monday to Thursday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
* Friday: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Annual Leave: 23 days plus 8 bank holidays, with an increase of 1 day for every five years of service. A portion of leave (typically 5-7 days plus 3 bank holidays) is allocated for the Christmas closure, confirmed annually.
Overview:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join a growing construction company, supporting both the BREEAM and HSEQ teams.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collating and gathering evidence to support BREEAM compliance on live projects
* Assisting the HSEQ department with periodic document reviews
* Conducting ISO internal audits with the potential to develop into a Lead Auditor role
* Monitoring project reports and following up on outstanding information
* Attending relevant committee meetings and maintaining records/minutes
* Providing general administrative support as required
* Covering reception duties in cases of unplanned absences
* Training and development opportunities available for the right candidate
Person Specification:
* Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role within the construction industry
* NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate
* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify areas for improvement and suggest solutions
* Ability to manage workload effectively and prioritise tasks during busy periods
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, with strong Excel skills
* Analytical mindset with good numerical skills and problem-solving abilities
* Commercial and financial awareness with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Experience or training in ISO audits and/or sustainability is desirable but not essential
