Support new supplier identification, validation, and approval in line with the Supply Chain Manager’s instruction
Help to maintain relevant KPI’s and supplier scorecards to drive supplier performance
Schedule and conduct Supplier assessment audits for key and strategic suppliers
Identify and deliver cost saving initiatives based on improved productivity and processes within the Supply Chain
Support and deliver outsourcing options to facilitate make and buy options
Facilitate rapid problem resolution of parts quality issues working with suppliers and internal stakeholders
Liaise with Design and Production Engineers to ensure supplier process capability is matched to, or reflected in, SEA product and process requirements
Support procurement with Quarterly Business Reviews
Initiate and support continuous improvement initiatives, both within SEA as well as suppliers as appropriate
Operate in accordance with health, safety, environmental and security policies and procedures to ensure the security of information assets and the safety and wellbeing of self, staff and visitors 
The skills you need

Detailed understanding of continuous improvement (quality/ lean sigma / etc.) processes
Electromechanical engineering experience
Strong time management skills
Highly organised and methodical
Excellent interpersonal skills
Able to form productive working relationships with stakeholders with the ability to influence suppliers
An excellent problem solver with an eye for detail who can also think outside of the box
