We are looking for Production Operator's for our client in the Swansea area
Hourly Rate - £11.69
Average Weekly Hours - 41 includes paid breaks.
Shift Pattern - 3 week rotating pattern, working 12hr days & nights.
Working hours - Days 6am to 6pm, Nights 6pm to 6am
Responsibilities:
- Operate production machinery and equipment according to established procedures
- Monitor production processes to ensure efficiency and quality
- Perform materials handling tasks, including loading and unloading materials
- Use logic controllers to control and adjust machine settings
- Conduct routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic mechanical issues
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
Skills:
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
- Experience with SolidWorks or other CAD software for design purposes
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Knowledge of tooling, fabrication, and welding techniques
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
