Vivo Talent is working closely with a Financial Services company that is experiencing a significant period of growth and is seeking to enhance their IT Ops team on a fixed-term basis. They have various exciting projects in their pipeline and are in need of someone who can lead and guide the team to success, while also focusing on improving processes for efficiency. The individual will need to be proactive and take a hands-on approach to leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Lead a service desk function consisting of highly skilled individuals who have recently experienced some transition. Help coach and develop the team to reach their full potential. Identify areas for improvement and collaborate with them to turn weaknesses into strengths.
Understand the evolving strategy and coordinate the selection, implementation, and support of the organisation's systems with key stakeholders, especially as they transition into a cloud-first business.
Work at a fast pace, while adhering to regulatory requirements. Despite the quick decision-making processes at the company, ensuring the security of their data and systems is crucial for regulatory compliance.
Key Skills
Experience in strategising and improving infrastructure teams during expansion and transitioning to the cloud.
Proficiency with Microsoft technologies such as O365, Azure, and Windows.
Strong communication skills and experience working closely with C-suite stakeholders.
Demonstrated experience coaching technical teams to improve performance and skillsets.
