Pertemps Dudley are recruiting for Powder Coaters on behalf of a reputable steel manufacturer in Dudley. Due to growth, we are seeking a skilled Powder Coater to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate powder coating equipment, including spray guns and booths, to apply coatings evenly and efficiently.
Ensure proper curing of powder coatings by following prescribed time and temperature parameters.
Perform quality inspections to identify defects, imperfections, or irregularities in coated surfaces.
Maintain cleanliness of the powder coating area and equipment to ensure safety and efficiency.
Adhere to all safety regulations.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Powder Coater or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in operating powder coating equipment and applying coatings to steel or metal surfaces.
Understanding of surface preparation techniques and coating application processes.
Hours of work:
Monday-Thursday 2pm-10.30pm
Friday 2pm-7.30pm
Rate of pay:
£12.37 per hour
