The Graduate
As an English Teaching Assistant, you will have at least a bachelor’s degree in English Language, Literature, or a related field, as well as a passion for the education of students. Your spoken and written communication skills will be clear and concise, and you will have a natural ability to build strong bonds with pupils. You will be flexible and adaptable to ensure the needs of each individual student is met and will preferably have some experience of working in a school setting.
 
The Role

Assisting teaching staff in planning and delivering GCSE English lessons.
Providing 1-2-1 and small group support to GCSE English students.
Tracking student progress and creating individual support strategies.
Assisting with classroom management and behaviour management.
Supporting staff in leading extra-curricular activities.
