We are partnered with an international Fintech company who are currently looking to expand their Tax team and seeking a Tax manager to join their London team. In this role the successful candidate will be a key contributor to setting group's tax strategy and scaling the tax function as the business grows. You will manage relationships with external tax service providers, oversee the submission of year-end tax information, and serve as the first reviewer of prepared computations. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing quarterly VAT/GST returns for our VAT Group and overseas entities.

You will be:

Reviewing tax amounts carried in entity ledgers and maintaining the consolidated deferred tax entries.
Managing the R&D calculation and group relief position.
Supporting colleagues to resolve tax authority audits/statutory auditor reviews with a focus on transfer pricing or international tax issues.
Reviewing and submitting annual PSA returns for UK entities.
Ensuring timely submissions of tax returns (including ad hoc returns) for the Group and its subsidiaries like the ONS, CRS, and others.
Maintaining Group's Transfer Pricing (TP) model including reviewing the regular inter-company recharges and calculations, reviewing and updating the group's methodology to keep pace with the business and advising on emerging risks and opportunities.
Maintaining policies and procedures (with associated controls) governing transfer pricing and oversee their implementation.
Identifying evaluating and resolving material international tax risks and manage the tax payment position for the Group and for all entities with liabilities overseas.
Processing journals into the finance system (SUN/Vision) and approving journals raised by other members of your team when required.

You will need:

You will need strong UK Corporate Tax experience with both current and deferred taxes.
Excellent communication and presentation skills in verbal and written English
Strong experience with end to end ownership of complex projects with many stakeholders
Ability to work in a fast-paced and agile environment
