Mechanical Engineer – Pharmaceutical – Denmark
Our client is a €2bn turnover, Tier:1 main contractor operating across the UK, Ireland & Europe. They undertake major, complex schemes with a particular emphasis on Data Centres, Pharmaceutical and Life Science projects
Due to continued growth in the region of their Pharmaceutical projects division, our client is now seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer.
Responsibilities
* Design and Development: Create, design, and develop mechanical systems, components, and products, ensuring they meet performance, safety, and cost requirements.
* Analysis and Testing: Perform detailed calculations, simulations, and tests to analyze the functionality, durability, and efficiency of mechanical systems, making necessary adjustments based on results.
* Collaboration with Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, project managers, and designers, to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems into larger projects or products.
* Troubleshooting and Problem Solving: Identify and resolve mechanical issues, whether related to design, performance, or manufacturing, providing innovative solutions to meet project goals.
* Maintenance and Optimization: Oversee the maintenance, repair, and optimization of mechanical equipment or systems, ensuring they operate efficiently and reliably over their lifespan.
* Documentation and Compliance: Prepare technical documentation, reports, and manuals, ensuring all mechanical designs and systems comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
Requirements
* 10+ years’ experience working with a recognised Mechanical/Electrical contractor in process mechanical / pipework
* Experience in Pharmaceutical or similar Construction Projects preferred
* Relevant degree or trades background preferred
