Our client is a world class leader of mechanical, electrical and public health services , they provide the design, management, delivery of the most technically challenging MEP schemes with sustainability in the heart of their work. They are currently seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to help support its rapidly growing, successful team.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Strongly-focussed design involvement including schedules, site visits and surveys
- Carrying out cabling and lighting calculations
- Producing working drawings and schematics
- Liaising with Specialist subcontractors to ensure integration of their design
- Reporting to and continuous liaison with the Design Manager
- Ensuring all deadlines are met to the highest standard
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2-3 years design experience within the Building Services industry
- Ideally have design experience in a wide range of sectors
- Preferably a contracting background
- Qualified to ONC/HNC standard as a minimum in Building Services or Electrical Services Engineering
- Experience using AutoCAD and Hevacomp
- Knowledge of REVIT and Stabicad would be ideal but not essential
- Confidence to take a ‘hands on’ approach
- Excellent time management skills
- Flexible attitude to balance work loads and deadlines
- Hold a driving licence and valid CSCS card
