Mobile Plant Mechanic
Salary: £45-60k per annum, DOE
Orion is partnered with a well-established business located in Leeds, which is recruiting for a Multi Skilled Mobile Plant Fitter.
Mobile Plant Mechanic Duties:
Conduct routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs of mobile plant equipment such as trucks, loaders, conveyors and compactors
Mechanic experience
Perform planned maintenance activities to prevent equipment breakdowns.
Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and repair tasks.
Collaborate with the operations team to ensure equipment availability and reliability.
Comply with safety procedures and promote a safe working environment.
Mobile Plant Mechanic Experience:
Proven experience as a Mobile Plant Fitter in a similar industry.
Have electrical and mechanical maintenance experience in a heavy industrial environment.
Knowledge of heavy mobile plant machinery and their maintenance requirements.
Strong technical and mechanical skills.
Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues.
Effective problem-solving skills.
Commitment to safety and compliance with regulations.
