We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join our secondary school in Gateshead. As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising students in the absence of their regular teacher, ensuring that they continue to learn and make progress.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervising students in the absence of their regular teacher, ensuring that they are engaged in learning and following the lesson plan provided.
* Managing classroom behavior and maintaining a safe and productive learning environment.
* Assisting with the preparation of lesson materials and resources.
* Providing feedback to the regular teacher about the progress of the students.
Requirements:
* A degree in any subject or equivalent qualification.
* Experience working with secondary school students.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
